Thankful for each moment of life, I pray all my loved ones and yours are healthy and safe.

January is almost over already! Does life just happen, or is it us making it happen?

New experiences daily question our faith, wisdom, and how we react. There is never a day where morning is perfectly the same as the previous or the following day.

Sometimes, things get scrambled in a way one might think they are the worst. While other times, life seems wonderful, as if nothing can go wrong.

Over and over, the phrase has been said, life happens. I know for sure that no matter what happens, we are more blessed than we acknowledge. For a simple fact that things could be much more difficult than we can imagine. But they are not.

I choose each day to face anything that will be thrown at me with love, faith, and trust that everything is the best it can be. When things get tough, I turn to prayer. Never of weakness but rather faith and strength that everything will be bright regardless of the storm.

As Hebrews 6:15 says, Abraham had to wait patiently. But Abraham did not just do nothing. Instead, he had faith (active belief and trust in God). So he obeyed God, even when it seemed impossible for such things to happen.

“I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world, you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world.” (John 16:33, MSG).

Imam Ali (peace be upon him) said, “Life consists of two days, one for you and one against you. So when it’s for you, don’t be proud or reckless, and when it’s against you, be patient, for both days are tests for you”
